Dear Parents,

Many thanks to the Chafford School Peer mentors for providing information on their services during this week’s assembly. It is a wonderful opportunity to get to know some of the older students. I also spoke about punctuality and the role it plays when I am writing references. Over the weekend, I wrote three college references for year eleven students and was proud to note that their punctuality was very good. As from next week the house will be enforcing high punctuality. Students have been told that every third late will result in the loss of lunchtime. I am pleased to announce that Endeavour House is second in attendance whilst Victory is in the lead. I think Endeavour House can do something about this!

Dear Parents,

Many thanks to Brunel form group for their informative assembly on Tuesday about building positive bridges with those around school. I did mention that the most imortant bridge that students build is with their teachers.  The assembly ended with Paz Ampofo who sang to celebrate Valentine’s Day.  Thank you to Mr Rudland who supported Paz by playing the piano.

Dear Parents,

During assembly this week, we celebrated students who have achieved their Bronze merits. Each student received a certificate and their Bronze badges from Mrs Tallack. Hayley Smith from Jenner form won £25 for 100% attendance after her name had been drawn out of all perfect attenders by Mrs Santinelli. Congratulations to all!
